Traveling in Style

I was on my way back from the campus and passed by at Forever New shop in Melbourne Central when I saw this cute little suitcase with a cute little bow-tie. I decided to take a closer look and check the price. It seems quite strong for a cabin-size luggage and the price is reasonable. I could't help myself to buy it :)

I also found some other cute luggage....

And colourful luggage tags to make you easier recognising your luggage when you're traveling.

Be Prepared, Be Protected

For decades, it has been normal for men to carry condoms if they were dating or engaging in a sexual activity. It has been their responsibility, something that they supposed to do. Women, however, are still being judged if they carry condom, even for their own protection. People often think they are bad women and might engage in prostitution.

In this day and age, women cannot rely solely on men to be responsible and always be prepared when it’s time to engage in sexual activity. It would be irresponsible for women to think that they too should not be prepared. They may catch sexually transmitted diseases, unwanted pregnancy and even HIV from unprotected sexual activity. Then why should that responsibility fall on the shoulders of men only? You know we can't count on them!

Ladies... Be Prepared, Be Protected!

The Little Wonders

I have always admired people who done something for the community. It does not have to be something big, it can be something small, simple and fun, yet brings joy and meaningful. I am glad that I knew some of them back in Indonesia and in the U.S, and I am glad that I met one here in Melbourne.

Amirah, a friend of mine who is a Malaysian student at La Trobe University Melbourne, seems to share the same passion with me.

We both love kids and art work!

Combining these two together, Amira runs an art class in her house in Bundoora, 16 km north of Melbourne CBD. I can't wait to join her class and teach those kiddos how to make some artsy stuff. I am quite amazed by the art work they made. They remind me back when I was in Kindergarten. Instead of asking for dolls and toys, I always asked my parents to get me some art supplies.

Look... aren't they cute ?
